Looking to move an application to the cloud but unsure where to start? Microsoft is hosting a two-day Azure Migration Workshop for Partners with IP on the 7th and 8th June at our Reading offices.
Aimed at companies that design, build and sell their own applications, the workshop will be a practical “hands on” experience where partners can move their existing applications to Azure, in a hack environment with a team of engineers to help support the migration.
How do I attend?
If you’re a Partner with existing, looking to move it to Azure and want to re-create your current environment, complete the following form with as much information as possible on your project to submit your interest. https://aka.ms/ukdxlasjun2017
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 26th May. All applicants will be informed of the outcome at the very latest by Thursday 1st June.
Detailed pre-requisites will be sent to successful applicants, but companies will typically be expected to send two technical developer / deployment people who have a detailed understanding of their software and who know how to configure and deploy it, etc. No detailed knowledge of Azure is assumed, though some supplied pre-reading will help attendees get the most from the two days.
For further information, or If you want to explore the idea of re-architecting an existing solution for Azure, or are building a new system that you want to optimise for Azure, please email vipazure@microsoft.com to have a more detailed discussion.
