Microsoft Teams - Manage discovery of private teams |
Teams is making it easy to discover and join private teams. Admins and team owners can control whether they want to allow private teams to be discovered by Teams users. When a private team is discoverable, it shows up in search results and is included in suggestions in the team gallery alongside public teams in Teams. This makes it easy for people to search for and find the private teams that they want to join. People can request to join a private team which a team owner can then approve or deny. |

Advanced Message Encryption in Office 365: admin-controlled message revocation |
We are enabling the ability for admins to revoke encrypted emails. Revocation of encrypted emails is only possible if the recipient received a link-based branded email experience for the encrypted email. Organizations will have the ability to force a link-based experience regardless of the recipient identity. This way, all recipients will get a branded email with a link to the Office 365 portal where they will be able to read and reply to encrypted emails. All such encrypted emails will be revocable. Once an email has been revoked, the recipient will get the following message when trying to access the encrypted email through the Office 365 portal: "The message has been revoked by the sender." |

Message encryption: admin-controlled message expiration |
We are releasing the ability for admins to expire encrypted emails. Expiration of encrypted emails is only possible if the recipient received a link-based branded email experience for the encrypted email. If the recipient received a native inline experience in a supported Outlook client, then those emails cannot be revoked. Organizations will have the ability to force a link-based experience regardless of the recipient identity. This way, all recipients will get a branded email with a link to the Office 365 Message Encryption portal where they will be able to read and reply to encrypted emails - and if the message is expired they will no longer be able to read and reply to the encrypted email. Once an email has been expired, the recipient will get an error when trying to access the encrypted email through the Office 365 Message Encryption portal: "The message has been expired by the sender." |
