Hello and welcome everybody to our Friday with International Community Update.
Today I want to cover the German Windows 8 Student Developer Club Portal. The Student Developer Club is an iniative from Microsoft Germany for students who want to develop Windows 8 Store Apps.
We have our own forum on MSDN and because there is a lot of potential, good questions and answers we decided to make a wiki portal which contains links to some sample, articles and knowledge collected from the forum.
Why an own forum and wiki portal for the Developer Club?
Students are working at other types of projects, have another level of experience and asking other questions than professional developers. So it is better for them if they can ask other students and people who are working in the academic area.
I hope this will be a good example for other countries and student communities. If you have a similar student community in your country make some advertising and leave a comment to this post.
