A mind-boggling statistic: 90 percent of the existing data in the world was created in the last two years. The Windows Server team, in its blog about storage transformation, shared this thought-provoking fact. It begs the question – how much data will the world produce in the next two years, or the next 20, and how will we store, manage, navigate and make the most of it?

This and all sorts of other news and information are emerging from TechEd North America 2013, which is still going full steam with hands-on labs, breakout sessions, and Ask an Expert. The sessions cover a wide range of topics, including Windows Server, SQL, and Intune teams and more.

Check out the Server and Cloud Blog for a roundup of TechEd’s day three highlights, including how Windows Azure can be used for disaster recovery, how to create a private cloud with Hyper-V and even how James Bond’s car of choice, Aston Martin, is using cloud technologies to make quicker business decisions.
