The Windows Phone Developer Blog has just published the final installment of a three-part series focused on the best ways for developers to test their apps before submitting them to the Windows Phone Store.
Part one covered key test areas such as beta testing, installation and launch, as well as Fast Application Switching. Part two covered testing Live Tiles, push notifications, background agents and more.
Part three covers “additional areas and testing approaches to consider, including network resources, device-specific tests for hardware variations, display resolution, app upgrade, common Store test cases, and real-world testing,” Craig Horsfield, a senior SDET on the Windows Phone Test and Operations team, writes in a blog post today.
