We get that facilitating interoperability between our products and products from other vendors is important. This is especially true of communications tools such as email and calendaring.

After all, how can anyone expect to get any work done if they can’t communicate with one another or set up a meeting to discuss those latest quarterly sales figures?

Exchange Server 2013 and Microsoft Outlook 2013 support the following core and most commonly adopted email and calendaring standards: IMAP, POP3 and others.

Moving forward, we’re asking for your feedback to make sure we invest in the standards that our customers most value. You can tell us what email and calendaring standards you’d like to see in the next versions of Exchange Server and Microsoft Outlook by clicking here or sending email to emailstand@microsoft.com.

To get the rest of this story, read today’s post over on the Openness@Microsoft Blog.
