Joining the beautiful Windows 8 Skype app is a new Skype app on Windows Phone 8. Its now always on, always ready yet has limited battery drain. Learn more on the Skype Big Blog. Here’s the stuff I really like
- Skype contacts are automatically added to your Windows Phone so you open a contact card from a person and can dial them directly using Skype.
- Skype now has a notification icon on the home screen
- It integrates Messenger friends if you’ve linked your Microsoft account with your Skype name.
…and the interface. Clean and beautiful, just like it is on Windows 8.
