Hey TLG and Hyper-V fans,
Delivering on the potential of his recently published private cloud version of the Windows Server 2012 base configuration test lab, MVP Mikhail Komarov has published Test Lab Guide: Demonstrate Hyper-V Replica in the TechNet Gallery. This new TLG uses the private cloud-based Corpnet subnet to demonstrate the new Hyper-V replica features of Windows Server 2012 using the APP1 virtual machine. Here are the steps:
- Step 1: Configure the Windows Server 2012 Base Configuration for Private Cloud lab
- Step 2: Configure the Hyper-V hosts to support replication
- Step 3: Enable replication virtual machine
- Step 4: Test-Failover
- Step 5: Unplanned failover and reverse replication
- Step 6: Planned failover
- Step 7: Remove Replica
A huge thanks to Mikhail for his continuing effort to develop and publish these new TLGs focused on Hyper-V features.
