As part of our specialized Keep Your Business Moving program targeted at small businesses and startups in the Middle East and Africa region, we are giving away a FREE technology makeover. We have tied up with PC Magazine, a leading technology magazine in the region, to launch SMB Technology Makeover Campaign 2013.
The SMB Technology Makeover Campaign will run for three months starting March 2013. Through this campaign, we will help one regional small business improve its technology, productivity and efficiency, through free technology upgrades of their already existing IT infrastructure. Small businesses who would like to participate in this free SMB Technology Makeover Campaign, can submit their registrations by visiting www.pcmagtechmakeover.com.
Microsoft’s main goal is to help small businesses in the MEA region to become more successful. The SMB Technology Makeover Campaign, which is part of our Keep Your Business Moving program for small businesses, is a way for us and our partner Dell to give back to our regional small business community.
Small businesses in countries such as Jordan, Egypt, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Algeria, Morocco, Pakistan, and Tunisia, with 10 PCs or more, qualify to have their IT infrastructure revamped for free. Included in this package are a new Windows Server Standard and Dell hardware to go with it, ten Dell Surface tablets, ten Windows Phone 8 smartphones, 1- year subscription to Office 365 (for up to 100 users) and one expert consultancy on IT infrastructure.
As part of this campaign, eligible small businesses in the MEA region will have to complete two steps in order to qualify for the technology makeover. First, small business entrants will need to sign up for the free Office 365 Midsize Business Trial, and make note of the domain name when signing up for the free trial. Then, come back to the technology makeover site to fill up the main registration form.
Members of Keep Your Business Moving get an exclusive opportunity to skip STEP 1 and proceed directly to step 2. We are sending out a special code in our March 2013 monthly newsletter, which needs to be used to register for the campaign by filling up this form. The campaign will run for a total period of three months starting March 2013. Microsoft subject matter experts and PC Magazine editors will form a panel of judges. The winner of the SMB Technology Makeover Campaign will be announced in June 2013 (date and location to be determined.)
