Beschreibung
Der dreitägiger Workshop liefert Best Practice durch theoretische Grundlagen und praktischen Übungen, die notwendig für das Design, die Bereitstellung, das Anpassen und Verwalten von Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V-Umgebungen sind. In diesem Workshop werden die wichtigsten Features von Hyper-V-Rollen für Windows Server 2016 erläutert. Architektur-Konzepte werden nur soweit erläutert, wie sie zum Verständnis für Installation, Verwaltung und Problembehandlung der Hyper-V-Umgebung notwendig sind.
Agenda
Module 1: Introduction to Hyper-V:
This module will begin with an introduction to virtualization topics and the evolution of Hyper-V. Hyper-V architecture will be covered along with an introduction to failover clustering, and a brief introduction to management tools.
Module 2: Hyper-V Installation & Management:
Enabling and configuring Hyper-V ,including a review of networking and storage concepts. Hyper-V management tools and Virtual Machine concepts, deploying virtual machines, and virtual machine mobility scenarios like Live Migration, export/import.
Module 3: Failover cluster and Hyper-V:
Failover clustering concepts, installation, configuration and advanced topics like stretched clusters and cluster upgrades
Module 4: Hyper-V Networking:
A deeper dive into networking technologies including teaming, virtual switches, SR-IOV, RSS and VMQ..
Module 5: Hyper-V Storage:
A deeper dive into storage technologies including SMB, Storage Spaces, and Cluster Shared Volumes.
Module 6: Backups & Disaster Recovery:
A review of backup and disaster recovery technologies will be reviewed including Windows Server Backup, Hyper-V Replica, Azure Backups, and Hyper-V Recovery Manager.
Module 7: Performance Counters and troubleshooting tools:
Covering VM resource metering, CPU, Memory, Network and Memory Counters and working with the Hyper-V and Windows Event logs.

Der Workshop richtet sich an Administratoren und IT Professionals, die bereits 3-5 Jahre min. Erfahrung mit der Administration von Microsoft Windows Server OS haben und 1-3 Jahre min. Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet von Virtualisierung-Technologien haben.
