imageIf you have recently passed a Microsoft Partner Network Sales and Marketing Assessment, or completed training for sales professionals or IT decision makers, you may be well on your way to earning a Microsoft Partner Network Sales Specialist accreditation or Microsoft Partner Network Pre-Sales Technical Specialist accreditation in the Microsoft Partner Sales Excellence program. Our Specialist accreditations recognize sales and IT professionals who demonstrate solution selling expertise for selected Microsoft workloads (see a list below). Join this elite community that provides you with access to ongoing training and a professional community. Take the opportunity to gain knowledge and insights that will help you close sales faster and offer solution advice to your customers and, in turn, help them grow their businesses.

As a Specialist, you may feature a logo in your business communications that lets customers and colleagues know about your expertise.

For your company, your status as a Specialist can help meet requirements for earning a Microsoft competency in the Microsoft Partner Network.

U.S. Partner Sales Excellence Sweepstakes

If you have been preparing for an accreditation, or considering getting one, we have an incentive that may help you stay focused. Through December 31, you can earn entries in our U.S. Partner Sales Excellence Sweepstakes two ways:

  1. Pass a qualifying assessment in December.
  2. Complete qualifying prep courses.

The grand prize in this sweepstakes is a travel package to the Hyatt Grand Aspen in Colorado (approximate retail value $8,750).

No purchase necessary. Open only to authorized representatives of companies actively enrolled in the Microsoft Partner Network who are U.S. residents (includes District of Columbia) 18 years or older. Game ends December 31, 2012. Official Rules.

How to get started

Go to the Partner Sales Skills Excellence Accreditations website, and follow the four steps to accreditation: www.microsoftsalesspecialist.com. From there, you can choose your specialization; take training that will prepare you for the assessment; and take the assessment. Good luck!
