When the December 2012 Public Update is placed in the “Updates” folder of a
Setup image for automatic patch installation, two error dialogs indicating that
“Microsoft SharePoint Foundation administration tool has stopped responding”
may appear near the end of the Setup process. The installation is unaffected by
these errors, and the patch(es) are still applied successfully.
Clicking "Close the program" on each error dialog allows Setup to complete
successfully. No fix for this issue is currently available.
